With the shouting "Si senor!" in unison as a group of cavaliers, as their name suggests, and with the farewell gesture of raised violin bows, Los Caballeros confirm - more to themselves than to their audience - another impeccable performance. What follows only a moment later, according to a well-known scenario, is an outburst of wholehearted approval, regardless of whether it comes from a listener encountering the group by chance or from a confirmed fan of the leading Croatian mariachi group and one of the most appreciated outside Mexico.

This status is confirmed by the group's second appearance in the Encuentro Internacional del Mariachi y La Charrería in September 2002. And far from resting on this status thousands of miles away from any competition, Los Caballeros keep raising their musical standards by broadening both the scope of their vocal tasks within the ensemble and instrumental arrangements as well as by constantly extending the classical mariachi repertoire.

They were in such excellent form at the time of their solo concert in the concert hall "Vatroslav Lisinski". Although the reaction of the audience is muted only for technical reasons and it doesn't correspond with the atmosphere created during the concert, that form is entirely confirmed after a careful listening of the 16 chosen recordings.

From the collective contribution in "Guadalajara", "La negra" and "El gusto", to the solo performance of Ivan Androić, the long-time first voice of the group ("Soy Mexico", "Besame mucho", "Por amor") and relatively new vocal soloists, the trumpet player Franjo Vinković ("Amaneci en tus brazos", "Granada") and the violinist Damir Matić ("Demasiado herido", "Cucurrucu paloma"), Los Caballeros ;En vivo! is the image of the best mariachi available far and wide, and for this reason we are the ones who should shout ";Si Senores!" to them.
